    Three-stick W900?

Well something about this looks fake. The winshield is very dirty and you can never see out of it plus the cab is moving in an odd way.But I have seen Heavy Haul Trucks with three sticks and three trannys.Never heard a turbo whistle that long either.Think what that would do to the ears.

Is this why my tach no worky?

Look for a sending unit on the front gear cover with no wire attached. Most get RPMs from a sending unit that is on some engines.

    Cat d6c 3306t

Speaking of the head.Nearly every 3306 in a dozer has been replaced for some reason.I was working on a D6D about 3000HRS and the head and one piston had been replaced.I'm guessing maybe a dropped valve. My dad run a D6B that done this while in warranty.Still a good engine.

Road ranger question, trouble changing from high range to low range

The cylinder is on the back of tranny.Round has 4 bolts if I remember right.I used a spray cleaner and fine emory cloth.Piston has O ring that can be changed.Cheap fix if this is the problem. You might want to get some one to show you where this cylinder is.Hard to explain on here.

Road ranger question, trouble changing from high range to low range

You can open the Range shift cylinder on the back of the tranny it has an O ring on the piston clean it and the cylinder walls.I did this a few times was having the same problems and this cleared it up.

Would this be a bad used first excavator to buy?

Lot of slop in the bucket pins and I think there was excessive movement in the stick where it pins to boom.
