    Kx161-3 buckets compatible with new?

Not even the dealer can tell me what buckets match up. I see some buckets listed as 161,U45 but conflicting info on whether the 57 buckets are the same or not.

Looking for an international HX dump

Our approaches are both very similar. If you need a truck right now, there is no good solution. Those 50k trucks can only be viable for so long. I literally know of one pre emissions truck under 500k miles. It has 200k and is priced at $99k. It’s actually a tandem. An F-550 is 80k plus now.

Looking for an international HX dump

I’ve been convinced for years that full time dump truck guys are not making anything. Owner operators make a wage. Putting a guy in the truck has to be a break even. That’s without any poor luck.

Looking for an international HX dump

Anyone know what kind of financing rates manufacturers are offering on new trucks?

Looking for an international HX dump

I’m just figuring out that FET, does not take the place of state sales tax. So total taxes on a new truck are well over $40k ? Is that right?

Looking for an international HX dump

I printed out the one in Nebraska as an example for the bank, because it actually lists a price. Way too far and the price seems like it is $25k high. Even for now. Am I way off? https://www.truckpaper.com/listings/trucks/for-sale/211492825/2022-international-hx

Looking for an international HX dump

Trucks don’t make money in landscaping and excavation. It’s support equipment. Like having a shop with tools in it. You don’t directly bill for it, but it’s fairly necessary to have around. Availability may improve but inflation and current prices are pretty much here to stay. Hiring trucks...

Looking for an international HX dump

Any input would be appreciated on these newer hx series. I think I’ve narrowed it down to the hx620 based on having the most local dealer but could be talked into the 520. I also have semi local dealers for all brands within 30-45 minutes, but much more convenient to international. My use is...

    Truck prices

How inflated are new Triaxle dump truck prices right now for 13 liter automatics? I’m seeing 190-240 range. What were they in 2019?

Newer air ride dump trucks in rough terrain

After thinking about it for a day or two, that truck is long gone anyway.

Newer air ride dump trucks in rough terrain

The uneven dumping wouldn’t be my only concern about the air ride. Actually the main thing is getting in to spots. Backing up on fresh soft gravel when putting in new driveway, or over chunky bank run or shale. Off driveways into muddy grassy spots etc. I have a Volvo Triaxle now with double...

Newer air ride dump trucks in rough terrain

Thanks guys good info. I saw the tippy picture above and it reminded me of a dream I had last night , I bought a new truck and kept flopping it over every time I dumped. Lol. I found a 2022 HX 520 but it’s air ride. Obviously not much availability out there but I’ll have to skip over the air ride.

Newer air ride dump trucks in rough terrain

I’m seeing some mixed reviews in reading about pros and cons of various dump truck suspension types. Traditionally, it seems air ride is not ideal for rugged construction sites. But it seems like there are some contradicting reports about newer air ride systems. Have they developed better...

    2012 Ram 5500 dump

Hate to sell this truck but the banks won’t finance a 15-20 year old tri axle dump. So unless I finance a newer $80-100k truck, I need to pay cash. I just paid off my 5500 so I will go finance a new one of these instead. 71,000 miles Cummins diesel Automatic 4x4 9 foot marauder dump body...

    Banks won’t finance older trucks

Buying new is by far the best/easiest way to finance. The obvious problem here is cost. You have to have the work load for new stuff. Cat financing was the best finance experience I’ve had. For a triaxle though, the difference between the 30k truck I need and 140k new one, is far too big of a...
