    I would be taking a look at the powertrain cooler myself. If you've had major component failure and a filter in bypass that cooler will most likely need some attention and will definitely be a contributing factor to your heat issue.

    They certainly can be a dog's breakfast sometimes, the customer loves this thing though! That being said, he drops the oil at 250h religiously, runs Cat fluids and filters (no exceptions) and runs a robust S.O.S program on his fleet. Thus, he is compensated with very little unscheduled down time...

    Here are a couple more progress photos, I think the job is coming along well so far but we've been told the tractor needs to be back at work in a month, which shouldn't be a problem as long as there are no surprises... The tractor is being completely steamed out and re-hosed in the equipment...

    I certainly expected more data as well. I was hoping to receive an as shipped engine test cell report. I was told she was being sent down for a full dyno run and break in. Oh well, the drill went into the equipment shop yesterday to begin the overhaul. I'll go take a few pictures and post em up.

    Cat 914G hi/lo not working

    It may also be worth noting that an ECM failure is almost always the end of a troubleshooting tree in electrical diagnostics; they are expensive and non-refundable. I would suggest making darn sure the ECM is faulty before condemning it. Good luck!
