    Bringing this thread back from the dead, the DW20s in question had a device like the later 630-666 models . This old brochure calls them Tractionaiders, which I'd guess was their trade name.

    DW-10 Bottom Dump Wagon

    Dave Grid in Seward Nebraska may be of help as he stored an early DW10 scraper a few years ago. The wagons probably were built by the Athey company. I'll dig thru my old literature and see if they feature them. Hope this helps.

    Cat- LeTourneau Westinghouse scraper- dozer

    3 different scrapers were used with both tractors. Le Tourneau-Westinghouse, Euclid and Curtiss-Wright. They also make aircraft, or did. The tractors and the scrapers were made for the US Gov. under separate contracts. Out tax dollars at work.

    Talk about full circle.. the 621B unit I posted a while back has been bought by my current employer for it's tractor. Now owned by JC Excavation in Kennard, Nebraska. They bought it at an IronPlanet auction to get the tractor to repower one of our scrapers. Just an interesting little anecdote...
