CAT 279C Battery Keeps Dying....driving me insane

IF you have access to a DVM (Digital Volt Meter) you can do a quick simple test: - Battery Voltage @ battery before starting (hopefully near 12V) - Battery Voltage after starting should jump up 2V to near 14V on most machines Otherwise, there are many things that could be a parasitic draw while...

    753 OVERHEATING - BEFORE I START?

And, the other side of that is whether it actually opens up @ proper pressure of course _ undue stress on system if not, and might explain 'weeping areas' if still an issue after all else.. AND, another cheap replacement for sure, once you know what acceptable pressure ratings are for that...

    753 OVERHEATING - BEFORE I START?

Only other thought I can add to ALL the Wise Words above is to make sure that the Rad Cap is the correct pressure too.. I am not sure on that engine if a few pounds less pressure would be detrimental for any reason, but 'kubota nerds' around here should know for sure.. If it is too high, it...

    Bob S185 locking up

Yeah, knowing what I do of Electronics and Circuit Boards, there is a very good chance that there are components 'pulling away from the sockets or soldered connections' because the Epoxy is adhering to the case cover and holding them in place until a physical shock opens the circuit once you hit...

New Holland L220 Not lifting proper weight

^ You say 'boom does not leak down' _ but is that with any amount of Weight/ Pressure on it, or Empty test only..?? Depending upon your answer to that, it may well be that you have a leak across ram seals internally _ although I am just a 'dumb farmer' at heart in many instances, it seems the...

Odd Vibration at standstill on JD 333D when throttling above 2000rpm

Glad is was only a phantom there.. and thanks for the update, many seem happily wander off once things are better, then people who answered trying to help or simply watching wonder what happened, I suspect.. Have a great weekend there and enjoy your machine!!

What is this valve for on the 740A?

Without more perspective to what else is near, I could only guess maybe some part of a HYD Snow Wing attachment perhaps, as near area of some large mounting plates..?? Someone wiser than me should be by soon, with the proper answer..

    Cat 267B Tipped on Nose

I'm not sure if it could easily find its way into the cylinders on that particular engine, but IF oil could get on top of the pistons in that short of time (and of course, is the time stated correct??) and then 'attempt to be compressed', but Air-Fuel can compress and Liquid not-so-much _...

ASV RC-100 Fuel Issue? Clicking/ rough idle at low RPM - smooths out at high thrott

^ That suggestion by 'mountainlake' makes sense _ I cannot imagine that it is NOT getting enough Voltage (which should increase with RPMs, thereby keeping solenoid circuit closed) but maybe there might be an issue there, if not a connection issue.. Good Luck, keep us posted on your findings!!

Bought a used 333D and had seller put on new tracks - now two error codes?

Good to know, thanks for the update.. Simple things are often the cause seemingly, glad it was that easy!!

S590 Hydraulic Charge Pressure and Sutdown

I wonder given that ^ information if there might still be some 'contact issue' between the belt and pulley, maybe a bit of oil residue still so although seems TIGHT it may slip _ once warm/ worked I think oil would tend to excrete if was going to..?? Truthfully, nothing happens on the machine...

    Bobcat T190 maintenance

Yes they do, I believe if you are going to service them yourself you may as well go get yourself a Service Manual from the dealer _ worth its weight in drive motors and other bits, I think.. That being said, I believe the T190 (or my 2013 at least) requires track & sprocket removal to do motor...

S590 Hydraulic Charge Pressure and Sutdown

I just read this, and can say that my 3yr old T190 has shown that once, and was because of a 'poorly tensioned' drive belt _ hope it may be as simple there too!! :)

    Big buckets

Depends what you are 'planning to bucket' with it, of course _ many folks around here have 96" Snow Buckets (lighter weight construction for light material _ Snow and Turkey Litter, I believe many advertise as) that you could likely fold up like a pop can if you tried hard enough in Wet Clay...

    bobcat t200 trouble starting

I will agree, this action seems MOST like what you would get from a bad Cable/Connection or Solenoid.. ie. the High Amperage side of the circuit likely, perhaps a Ground connection as well.. ** Do you still hear the solenoid attempt to engage (click) when you turn the key..?? Good luck, keep...
