    I had a 1953 Let. model c at one time 5 speed direct with a 6-71 Detroit in it. A neat thing to operate for sure. I moved a lot of dirt with it.

    I have never used threadlock on anything and and never will and have never had bolts come loose!!!! Guess everybody has their own opinion on the crap BUT I have been stuck trying to get bolts out that some A**HOLE put the crap on them!!! Just my 02!

    I never seize everything and loctite should be banned from the planet! -- IF ya ever tried to take out a bolt that had that crap put on it you would know why!!!!

    The power steering pressure might be off and not grabbin the bands. my 250c was that way when I first got it. 250 and 20 bout same chassics.

    Ya,---gotta be a front mount starter! M is rear, so thats out. The truck one should be closer fit.

    That IS an IH motor! Look for starter out of a M to start with. Looks like a M tractor motor OR power unit . WD-9 is probably the same starter, have to check the drive pinion for tooth size and nose cone size. Also looks like They just set an ih power unit on it. Hood, radiator, air cleaner...

    Is it a single drive or tandem? also is it model 99? One I found had a 414 ih motor in it, several have 3-71 Detroits in them. Cant find one with a gas motor in it,--still lookin!

    What motor is it? Some of them had IH diesels in them, so IF its an IH gas motor,---possible WD-9 if 4 cylinder. might try these guys for parts.

    I used to run my AC Fourty five backwards in waterways. Operators manual explains how to do it!
