    One of the most hellarious things to look out for is to make sure it does not have a "fiberglass ripper"....... :eek: yes you heard that right, I saw one in a auction yard that had a broken ripper and was patched up with some fiber glass.

    Thanks PJ but I think the Lieca 1600, is not as suitable for my as other types of distance measures that have self leveling and compensation fop tilted aims. I am thinking more of a Trimble or Hilti, or something made for construction industry. I think the Lieca is more recreational.

    Hi JCBmanUK and welcome to the forum. Personaly I haven't the faintest clue of what your asking about, but I would think you being in the UK and the JCB's are made there you might go to service center and talk to some of the Blockes there, just a thought.
