    Kumatsu bulldozer D155A-1

Might be sealing rings that feed them. Have you done a pressure test?

    Big dozers

It would be a good machine for some of that gold mining. Evidently some think its a great deal, never see them with rippers forsale. Would be fantastic for perma frost ground. And the icy clumps could be track walked to crush them. 575 was not super heavy, I'm surprised how little it weighs, I...

    CAT D6C info

The most important thing to me with those is where is the blade lift lever located?

    Has anyone else heard this?

If you shut one off with a compression release, its a toss of the dice where and how it can stop the rotation. Also I would think flywheel inertia limits the possibility of compression causing a stoppage in a certain orientation. Some times its the nut in the operating compartment that is...

    Had new hydraulic rods made

Just me but I'd first make them able to thread together and then weld them.

D5G tracks will not move with flashing code 168 ???

I think those gauges pictured above read approximately up to about 700 psi, the thousands numbers are in bar. I think they would work okay for the lower pressures.

    D8t brakes engaging

Sorry for a bit of off topic, but this issue is scary. Can you imagine pushing over an edge up over 100 ft and having the brakes lock at the last moment and can't back up? What a very dangerous feature. If they lock in 1st gear can you immediately grab second gear and go or what? In all my life...

    Komatsu D57S-1 Head gasket seep

There should be marks stamped on the gears already? And you have to remove all the parts to clean and check things properly. If the pressed in bearings are in good shape you likely can keep them in.

    Genuine VS Chinese parts

Yeah makes no sense. You'd think China would strive to make quality, they are very qualified to make the best of the best, for some reason they choose not to on some things, its like they want a bad rep. Japan was in the same boat in the 50's and early 60's, all they made then was junk, but...

    WW2 ARMOURED CATERPILLAR DOZERS (D7A)

So then in a few months we will see them in our Harbor Freight stores?

    Komatsu D57S-1 Head gasket seep

Goofy stuff having bolts and or pins going into a bearing cap. Makes an inframe very difficult. And please don't use that crap silicone (RTV) as it looks like someone did. That will be one of the most difficult jobs removing it. Please don't use powered abrasives to clean the machined surfaces.

    WW2 ARMOURED CATERPILLAR DOZERS (D7A)

Sure looks ahead of its time, with the lift cylinders like that. They did a great job, even better than anything made now for that purpose. Too bad that someone didn't know how to install the tracks though.

    Komatsu D57S-1 Head gasket seep

When you have something like that, pulled so far apart, it makes no sense not to remove EVERYTHING. Now is the time to deal with that rear seal, and any related to the rear of the engine gaskets etc etc. It all needs the be cleaned real good as well, and to check things real good for cracks...

D9D 18A Final Drive Pinion Flange

So they no longer make the tools? Then they should freely sell or give away any drawings for them. I had access to those tools years ago, but that fellow has long passed away.

    Visited some old equipment

Cool, nice pictures. And thank you. I'm not being picky, just an FYI, did you know if you lay the phone on its side it will take a larger landscape picture?
