    looks like air in the oil to me. check the suction hose between the tank and pump. s70's (as well as 453/463) have a tendency to suck air in from the hydrostatic pump steering shaft seals.

    harness would be the 1st place i'd be looking for damage. cuz you really dont want to get to the swashplate sensor.. it's on the bottom of the hydrostat.

    typically the fuel sender wires, (as well as power bobtach) is a separate harness that plugs into the mainframe harness on the left side of the frame near the pulley on the hydrostat. it usually routed under the pump mount.

    you cant access anything from underneath. the plate you are seeing is a cover for the fuel tank drain and possibly a chaincase drain. only way to find whats leaking is to lift the cab.
