    Overload of the Day

Used to wonder why jobsite office trailers only generally had One Axle. Most appeared far heavier than 7-9000lb and the axles most times had no brakes. Then saw most were trailered ON a trailer to the site and the axle used for moving it around the site. Well Brother In Law and his original...

As to that Multi Rig F450 photo, looked up the capability to purchase a Tow Dolly for that purpose, the Information Page Conjecture and Assumptions as to legitimacy leaves a lot to be desired. https://fifthwheelst.com/automated-safety-hitch-system.html

    My CAT 426 Project

I still have three five gallon pail pumps, one for gear oil, one for Hydraulic and one for trans. Extend the hose, the J shape tube ends hold in where placed so fill is a matter of pumping gently.

    BCIII Cummins Rebuild.

If I know the engine will be started and used I have no problem with 105, will use assembly lube if know will set indefinitely. Regardless a new engine gets a prelube off a pressure tank prior to startup. Had no problem this method in Forty Five years of off and on building engines.

    Overload of the Day

Was on way back to yard yesterday, one of these wannabe RSH super haulers was in the way as stopped to get some stuff for dinner for the wife. The couple were arguing of not being able to access the city park camp areas not because of flooding but for too much Sh!t, were going to be charged for...

So long as its safe to drive who would care!! AFAIC he has big Cahones! Doubt are many that would attempt a brake check of that!

    Overload of the Day

Asphalt haulers here have gone almost exclusively to Three Drops, Quint Axle sets, spoke to a driver that felt all those did was add maintenance and failures, two seemed excessive but worked fine. Another Craze is a Drop axle as on extreme length Concrete Mixers on a Pnuematic Swing arm.

    Overload of the Day

Much of the insane massive loads decades ago were limited, fabrication shops for large scale construction built the oversize machines from sectional pieces on sites where today localized factories produce them and have to be hauled on the roads. Comes down to costs savings and speed.

    Overload of the Day

And you wind up with Moe Rons as my BILs neighbor that decided ON HIS OWN, NOT to install the Frame Angles for a Fifth Wheel Hitch in his Half Ton PU to drag a 14,000lb three axle Fifth wheel. he saw the cracking in the bed floor, was angered as GM refused warranty so WELDED HIMSELF. Trip into...
