Advice on Biodegradable Hyd Fluid.
What he said... I use Panolin only, Menzi-Muck doubles the warranty if you use Panolin. Now would I use it if I didn't do what I do, possibly not. For me it is a super cheap insurance policy- Dr. Ernie

I had the privilege of getting personal with a D-8,14A direct drive, she is it famous Pam, extra, extra long track frame, 54" shoes and a full U, it was real easy to take a nap after lunch on a long push... :) I absolutely love doing precision winch work with a direct drive tractor, so much... -

To answer your question trace the transmission cooler lines, if they go near the water system on the tractor start their, also look for places where rain water or in my case river water might find a way in. -

D6T VS D8T Tie plow
Pre ripping is not always bad in rocky ground. I think the biggest reason why I don't see D-8's on tile plows around here is weight, and ease of movement. Now with that said I did see a HD-41 set up on a tile plow, he pulled in strings like nothing. .... -

No, you are not nuts... water doesn't lie and keeps you honest. I use a Liaca depth master reciever and while it works well the water is the ultimate grade checker. Try rolling your bucket into the full dump position and using it that way to check the grade. I pull it to grade by eye...- Dr. Ernie
