Is this for a manual tach?

There is a spring inside there alright which that spinning pin seems to go into. I'm looking for somewhere on this Isuzu 4bd1 tengine where I can put in a manual oil pressure gauge with a capillary tube.

Is this for a manual tach?

Should have added the smaller piece with the probe screws into this piece below which in turn screws into the bottom of the filter housing

Is this for a manual tach?

I screwed this piece out of under the oil filter housing. The probe at the end spins as if it's a tacho of some sort? Could it be the tacho for the revs? The engine is a 4bd1 turbo

    Oil pressure gauge installation

There was no wiring diagram with this. Which wire goes where? I think this model has some function of a background light so maybe a wire is there for that but I don't need the background light. Also the wires that came arnt long enough. Is it OK to add to them using single core wire?

    Isuzu 4bd1

Have a machine here with an Isuzu 4bd1t engine in it. I'm wondering can I buy a kit with both the sensor, wire and clock which will read the oil pressure. I'm looking for something I can screw into the engine and then have a clock reading the pressure in the cab? I currently have nothing.

    Isuzu 4bd1t engine

So from the part numbers you gave the sensor seems available to buy from new but the tacho isn't showing up. Do I need that specific tacho or is there an alternative way around it?

    Isuzu 4bd1t engine

Anyone know where I can plug a tacho cable into in a 4bd1t engine? The altenator doesn't have this function for it. I was hoping maybe there was a sender unit I could buy and plug into the 4bd1t engine somewhere to read revs and hours

    Replacing a 4 cylinder engine with a 6 cylinder

Where it's lacking is when it gets very steep it is like the machine dies back a fraction and slow to move. I don't have the rev guage working but let's say at full throttle it's revving to 2200rpm but when under pressure might die back to 1900rpm or so. Could I increase the revs to around...

    Replacing a 4 cylinder engine with a 6 cylinder

It is very good to stay cool at the moment anyway as it has a very big rad in it. Is it also running very clean. Almost no black smoke under load

    Replacing a 4 cylinder engine with a 6 cylinder

Yes I agree with everyone that it's a great engine and sips fuel but I would just like some more power. When up a silage clamp it is just lacking 10 or 20hp I feel. What horsepower is a 4bd1t engine? I thought a 6 cylinder Isuzu might just have that big more go

    Replacing a 4 cylinder engine with a 6 cylinder

It's a furukawa fl310. It current has an Isuzu 4bd1 4 cylinder turbo engine in it. I'm wondering could I fit in an Isuzu 6 cylinder 6bd1 engine instead. I could push the rad back a few inchs. I'm wondering though will it bolt in at the front or not,

    Weak tilt

Would it be possible to disconnect the pipes off this ram and put a guage on the pipes to test what pressure coming to the ram? Like you can do to test the back of a tractor
