    The upcoming generation

Preach brother! I will just add that "big gov't " had their hand in this mess every step of the way compounding the problem.

    The upcoming generation

Just another socialist tool to destabilize the future of the country. We haven't "learned" anything. College kids acting like Israel/Hamas is akin to our Viet Nam or Korea. For such an educated bunch, they sure are stupid.

    The upcoming generation

I have had some pretty solid apprentice mechanics come through our shop. There's hope, although it's a slim glimmer, it's there. These kids are taught skills we all take for granted. Phenomenal welders and fabricators. Good stuff to work with. Occasionally you find a thin-skinned snowflake...

    Volvo Ec290BLC Won’t rev up

What do your fuel lines look like? Any getting pinched from tools thrown where they don't belong?

    Volvo Ec290BLC Won’t rev up

So, to be clear, you have a 290BLc tier III? You've replaced everything? Did you inspect your fuel water separator? Is it a factory Volvo filter? Is the bowl sucking air? Which filter head do you have on the separator? Is it the piston pump that unscrews or the diaphragm plunger?

    2 speed on a Volvo EC210b excavator

Above the battery box, there is a 4 bolt plastic cover bolted to the front of the tank. Remove the 4 bolts to uncover a smaller plastic housing. That is a relay box. Have a pan beneath it when you take the little screws out of the cover. The guts have probably rattled loose and will fall out...

    Volvo L40

What I've attached, I believe is what would be most helpful, if at all. Good luck

    Volvo L40

Unfortunately, Prosis has no supporting information on the straight L40. That said, I don't recall any significant differences between the straight and early B series. I hope the attachments will be helpful.

    Volvo L40

So, to be clear, you've upgraded from original electronics to ECU II with the new instrument panel? Do you know if the harness between the 2 was replaced as well? Every time someone performs this conversion, they run into trouble. I believe there should be instructions included with the...

    Volvo L40

Can you include your actual model & serial? Work hydraulics is a variable displacement pump as is the HST pump. Separate animals and the steering us a separate pump on its own.

    Volvo L40

Check your brake pedal, make sure nothing is impeding it's travel up or down. Lube the pivots and work it by hand till it's really free. The inching pedal is the number one cause of "no travel" after NO OIL! Good luck

    who makes this coupler

The thumb might pose a challenge but not impossible. At the dealership I work at, we recommend Paladin/JRB. They make a good product, simple installation and they hold up to the abuses a rental machine experiences. I have had bad experience with another company . The coupler itself is pretty...

    who makes this coupler

Until you wanna flip the bucket for scooping. Volvo was big on those til the practicality of the pin grabber became obvious. All the infrastructure guys around here use them. Dig with a 4 or 6 footer, set yer trench box, knock off the bucket and set yer pipe with just a coupler and cable. It's...

    1998 Western Star 4964F

AC trinary switch could power the fan clutch if it's equipped with red dot AC. The bigger problem is your starter struggling to crank a fan blade. I think you've got a poor connection somewhere or weak batteries. Good luck

    Return filter blocked???

I'm gonna keep thinking on this one.
