    Rock guards D3C

Any of you guys know of a good place to find some undercarriage guards for a 94 DC3? I’ve patched and welded on mine until I’m considering buying some.

    Compacting Sandy Forestry Roads

Yeah that’s along the lines of what I was thinking might be the only option. This whole place is pine plantation with about 2inches of topsoil. Makes it hard to scrape up anything.

Unfortunately rocks are scarce around us.

    Compacting Sandy Forestry Roads

Yeah, I kinda figured there’s not much hope without hauling in some material. I’d thought about stacking a few logs across and then covering them with hopes that it would maybe help hold things together. Might just be something that he has to deal with until we get a small dump truck

    Compacting Sandy Forestry Roads

I’m working on a friends place that’s hilly and unfortunately almost pure white sand with no clay content. The roads I’m trying to fix are mostly used for UTVs, tractors and small trucks. I started trying to build a couple of berms with water turnouts but I honestly don’t see the berms holding...

We haven’t tried to recalibrate it yet. It wasn’t doing it until they left it parked in a hayfield for a couple...

    Gasket Problems D3C III LGP

Well, I finally just bit the bullet and modified the gasket. So far no leaks but equipment never seems to do that in a convenient place. Thanks for all the suggestions and time!

    Gasket Problems D3C III LGP

The coolant holes and all of the bolt holes line up but the one sticking out. I need it to bolt up where McCall circled if I’m not mistaken. I’ll walk down there and look in a few minutes. That’s the second gasket.

    Gasket Problems D3C III LGP

I could probably put another hole in it but for a $25 gasket I’d rather have the right one.
