Cat MM55SR-2 does anybody else have one??

on the speed switch- one wire goes back to the 12v fuse panel. Take a meter and ring it out. The other wire should go to one of the wires at the solenoid, the other wire on the solenoid should go to ground. On the switch, I would ring it out and make sure it is good, no ground and operates properly.

Need info on Mitsubishi K4n engine

I am grinding valves on the K4N. What is the proper tool/driver to seat the valve stem seals?

    Mitsubishi mm30sr

Sorry, I am unable to help you on the "proportional hookup". Maybe others can help.

    Mitsubishi mm30sr

If you have feedback, I would say they are not proportional. I am looking at the description of MM55SR solenoids, "using high response solenoids and differential transformer (lvdt)" Why are you doing away with your electronic controls?

    Mitsubishi mm30sr

The block with the five wires is the lvdt feedback to let the electronics know how much the spool has moved and which direction. This feedback cancels out the demand going to the valve to keep it from saturating in the open or close/in or out.

The led modules 14, 15 would indicate error codes. Tr15-17 and resistors are associated with these leds. Your error codes are being sent to the display below the joystick, I think.

    Mitsubishi mm30sr

I think the error diagnosis codes are being displayed on the display below the joystick. Graham Hamilton,s web site has a list of error codes. On page 277 of his info for the MM55SR at the bottom of page "error code B6 and A8 can be neglected". Page 275 code 33=swing in ,code 52=front/back of LH...

    Mitsubishi MM40SR

an update I came to the conclusion my unit was no good as it was so I dug in. One thing learned, the control panel must have power/led/display on for the unit to have any function. On the schematic I have the bypass button has two wires one to the small remote unit and one to the main computer...
