Hitachi EX120-2 relief valve part numbers

Yeah I noticed that in the Deere parts diagram, (and I kind of guessed these part numbers because there are plugs right next to them with the same sized thread), but there are an additional 6 more rings inside of each valve:

Hitachi EX120-2 relief valve part numbers

Yup, they have pretty much the same exact drawings as I have with the same omissions. Is there a separate parts book for hydraulic components? The parts book I have has breakdowns for all the other relief valves (for instance on the swing motor), just not these. I have two parts books...

Hitachi EX120-2 relief valve part numbers

I'm just about done rebuilding the valve block on my EX, but I'm having an issue sourcing the o-rings and backup rings for 7 of the relief valves. I think there is an omission in the parts manual. It calls out several different part numbers for each of the valves: but there is no separate...

    New Project! Hitachi EX120-2

Starting to get deeper into things... Does anyone have a source for the weather stripping that is used to mount windows and seal doors, etc? I don't have much experience with that kind of stuff. Also, there is like 1" thick foam all over the engine bay and body panel sides for what I'm guessing...

    Old Cat D2 barn find

Those are some nice looking tractors! All the info about years can be found on the ACMOC site. That D2 was made in 1939, the 22 was made from 1934-1939. If you want some help in starting them, you should post over there...they always appreciate photos and giving advice. Here are the links if...

Should I take on this project? 50s Cat D4

I really got my money's worth on that hoist, I went over capacity on it a few too many times. The hydraulic cylinder gave out at one point, but a new one was only like $90!

Should I take on this project? 50s Cat D4

It took a couple years but she is finally done. Final price tag was around $14k. Kind of lucked out with it to be honest. The engine being shot is what parked it up instead of the UC being worn out. Seems like UC parts are much more expensive than engine/transmission/steering components.

    D4 7U

It's a 1956. The year isn't really that important, everything is based off of serial number.

    49D4 update!

Some of it depends on the type of surface you are on, but yeah once it is moving in a straight line and the grousers are biting into the ground, it's going to want to keep going straight even with only one side being driven. The fact that it doesn't move with both clutches back means they are...

    49D4 update!

Great progress! Sounds more like your right brake is bad then anything else. just pulling the clutches doesn't do much without using the brake.

You could try posting to the for sale/wanted forum on ACMOC.org. Other than that you might need to find a doner machine. You could also check with General Gear up in Idaho to see if he has one.
