    Pr-525-7 cmi

Wow, I know those gauges your talking about, they have never been accurate on the ones Iv run. Make sure you zero out good and then see what happens cutting.

    Pr-525-7 cmi

Ok not to be goofy or anything I've never heard of a 525-7 without a front mouldboard/bulkhead that is easy to raise and lower with a handle along the frame not far from where the old style sensor wheel brackets were/are. If you are using the old style grade controls, you aren't set to zero...

    Wirtgen Mill Parts for Sale

So good to have One of the Cavaliere Brothers here with us. I'm going to assume DJ. DJ is the combo cutter box still the same one from all those years ago? I dont know of anything Wirtgen that old. Wow. Stavola still have a few of the older Wirtgens from what I understand, I dont know if I...

    Teeth

Mr Bean, My favorite border poster... Its a process of cryogenic fusion, it does work and it does allow you to run alot longer on a set of teeth then what your accustomed too. If i can make some attachments I'll send you some reading material.

    Teeth

In a review of Forum guidelines and for the fact it has slowed down considerably around here, its worth pointing out a process that has been used on crusher blow bars, hammers and Vib plates has been successfully used on mill teeth. If you are interested in reducing the amount of teeth your...

    W2100 vs W2000

The W2100 is the most capable of that class in my opinion. The added HP because of that twin turbo set up is what gives it the edge. However it is true you can tweak them even farther if you know upper and lower drive dynamics. Its possible to go 7 miles straight ahead with one in under 10...

    Few questions about RX400

Um, If you get into a situation where you have to hop some iron and do it tight, you might need that parking brake. On the older mills they were a simple cap and plug to a line, I didn't get enough time with the 400 I was with this year to be honest in reply. I'd keep it hooked up if I was you.

Might be so, I was using that water tank piece that hangs down as a ref. You can run the serial number and that gives the exact date. Generally with any type of heavy equipment that's how it is. You would order parts off that number as well.

MULTIPLEX - Do you use them?

Hey Joshua, I have some bad news for ya, there isn't a living thing that could make a W2000 out produce the W210. Personally I'm not a fan of newer Wirtgen and in general don't have a preference with them but it simply isn't possible to move faster, load trucks faster, finish the job faster with...

    Favorite Mills

Thank you Jeff, I caught a lot of flack over the years about putting grease on the shank of those holders. I had to re explain the hot cold expansion theory 500 times not to mention the water that can get in. Did they tell you that too at Wirtgen training? just curious.

Can tell by the body and frame its early 2000's or late 90s, round there. It has a few little items that resemble the DC series.

The only 1200F that iv run was an old SOB, at least a 2002 model, be sure wirtgen did make changes toward improvement on a continual basis. In Florida those 4ft heads were used on quite a bit of shouldering work because the loadout systems could keep up at maximum depth. The job I had come from...
