    D8 "JJ8" Transmission overheating"

Sounds like high internal leakage in the torque which would cause heating. Torque would need to come out and be rebuilt.

    Just another day in paradise

There is a good chance they did something like that. I have done a couple rolled on their side insurance repairs. The operator always says they shut it down right away but they will still muck up the rod bearings in a very short time. Usually destroys the crank.

    #3406C low power

When you say you bypassed air fuel ratio do you mean you turned the adjustment screw in all the way. If this is driving the drill through a hydraulic pump have you checked that the pump is set right? Is it a waste gated turbo? That fuel pressure is normal but I’m surprised the boost is that low...

    CAT 277d DPF code

From that video I wouldn’t be too concerned about anything in the engine. There should be some grey smoke if it’s low on compression. Sounds good and looks fine. It may be that you’re just not working it hard enough to clean out the soot in the dpf.

    CAT 277d DPF code

I would be concerned about the 300 psi compression if the test was done right . 300 will barely fire a Diesel engine which also means tons of smoke which leads to a plugged dpf in a hurry. Can you take the exhaust off at the turbo outlet , start it and see if it’s smoking bad when cold.

    D8t brakes engaging

If this one has the accumulator I would check that first.

What I see is that the hose was laying in the back of the service truck when the grease barrel tipped over and the lid came off while going down the road.

Cat 320D weird issue with machine

For the few minutes it takes why wouldn’t you do it again. You can do it through the monitor if you have a 600 psi gauge.

Cat 320D weird issue with machine

First I would ask what the prv sweep test showed and was The prv calibrated after the ecm swap?

    C15 cam gear timing question

These cam gears are almost always half a tooth off with no problems. The cam is what determines number 1 or number 6 tdc and the gear can only go on in one position due to dowel pin so it is irrelevant where the engine is at. If you pin the flywheel the installation of the cam gear in that...

    D6T High Idle seems low

The D6T’s that have gears such as 1.5 and 2.5 do limit the rpm in those gears to give you the feeling of another speed. What is the high idle rpm when rolling with no load in each gear? Also can you connect et to the other d6 and see what it’s parameters for rpm are?

    D6T High Idle seems low

You can read deceleration and throttle status on ET to see if it’s at 100 percent.

If I’d have known grandkids would be so much fun I’d have had them first. So the saying goes. We are lucky to have our grandkids close to us. I get to teach them all kinds of silly things and then send them home! So I can rest.

I think someone confused axle shaft and axle group during the order process.
