    I am using 1/2" lexan on my excavator for mulching and have bolted it in place. drilled the holes oversize and inserted short pieces of rubber hose, also placed pieces of intertube between the lexan and the washers. never have lost any due to fracturing.

    I like the mulcher when working on steep grades, however it is about 4 times slower than the head on the skid steer. Each has its purpose.

    Don't let the case drain scare you. I have added one to a TB175 by running it along the boom and using an empty port in the hyd tank. The hose is not that expensive (surplus center) 3/8 or 1/2" 3000 PSI. I am running a Cimaf mulcher and they recommend no filter on the case drain.

    Don't give up on the 770. I am running a 2011 T770 with the teir 3 Kubota engine with a Cimaf DAF150D head. It has been reliable and runs good. However I have heard others have problems with the Dosan engine. So it could go either way
