    the D10 and that era of machine is in my mind the best era of Volvo equipment, on the turn of the electronic era but still " fix it with a hammer and a set of spanners" first of the new age ADT's nice comfort cabs but still old school tech same with excavators and shovels.

    I personally haven't heard of any real problems with the shutoff solenoid, I was going down the route in my head of why would it shut down without an error code and that was the first thing I came to as the ecu might think its just a normal operation and not flag anything.

    Don't get to carried away just yet! it's a D10, to be precise its a Part No. 8188147, D10B EAE2 ; SER NO 10001-10446 from the machine card anyway. Hence I asked about the fuel shut of valve on the injection pump

    Could the fuel cut off solenoid on the fuel pump be playing up? wiring issue or hopefully not an ECU fault

    To add to what Colson put, it gets worse when poor management can't deal with underperforming staff so the easiest way to remove the problem from their area is to promote them away to be someone else's problem. hence they will then end up in a management position way above their ability

    So all those codes are loss of communication with various Ecu's and control modules. it might be that plugging them all back in again and re reading the codes will wipe them, it could be that the " GUY " has turned off the CanBus system to each ECM ECU etc so it doesn't read anything at all.

    Hi Ianjoub so you are looking for a complete propshaft, alot of people won't sell them good used anymore, because if they let go after a few weeks, you're going to be screaming and when they go they tend to take something else out with them which will cost even more, I don't know what they cost...
