I have a 2004 cat D4K dozer with an electrical knob for the RPM. If i let the dozer sit overnight or for a few hours or even minutes sometimes it starts up and operates fine could be for hours or could be minutes it’s unpredictable. But it could be operating with RPMs high and then it just cuts...
