Even reading it after it's posted you have an hour to edit it. I've found typo's or added info after the initial posting.

    Champion 730A on hills

I'll have to check the oil level when I go put next. I thought I read on here it's important to change the oil and filter on a regular basis? I'm wondering if maybe old oil could be at least part of the problem?

    Champion 730A on hills

It seemed more like the torque stalling. I had a gravel truck and pup behind me and was trying to go as fast as possible but pretty slow going up the hill. Without the gravel truck I would have just downshifted where it was pulling good. It was a fairly steep grade. I thought I smelled something...

    2005 J.D. 35D / Constant Flow to flail mower?

I think you'd need some kind of heavy duty oil cooler to run a flail mower continuously.

Kind of hard to understand your posts.

bobcat 331 hydraulics keep locking out

The hissing/pressure release from the hyd. cap may be normal. A lot of hyd. systems have positive pressure of a few PSI to prevent cavitation. I have to wait about 10 seconds or so for the pressure to bleed off when I take the cap off my track loader.

    86 Champion 8400 transmission fluid

15-40 engine oil in the transmission? Never heard of 15-40 TO4 type tranny fluid.

Need help with 1973 580B shuttle

I agree that was a butcher job. You only do something that drastic if it's a real emergency that put people's lives in danger which would be extremely rare. Could have at least made a uniform hole.

Cat 950H, is it to much?

If there are any obstacles like curbs note where they are and slowly nudge against them to know exactly where they are so you can avoid hitting them. I got a job clearing snow with my skid steer because the former contractor used a big loader and took some big chunks out of the curb. Insurance...

Engine only runs with full choke

There's a couple very reputable welder repair shops that offer seals for Continental F163's. I'd contact them to see what the best option was.

    8-9 Ton Excavator Questions

The only thing I'd be a little cautious of is not to long ago on the forum it was mentioned Takeuchi is losing dealerships because they have unreasonable expectations of how many machines a dealer should be selling. I've seen this before on equipment my dad was the distributor of. The equipment...

I dare a dozer operator to show me a better floor grade

If it was pushing dumped material off what was generally flat to begin with, it shouldn't be that hard with a loader with return-to-dig to get it back to what it was. If was really rough to begin with is pretty impressive.

Engine only runs with full choke

That's why the shop I took the welder to doesn't use aftermarket parts. They had issues with aftermarket and can't warranty them. I'm sure some aftermarket are very good quality though. The front seal on the engine leaks a little and OEM Continental parts aren't available anymore. They agreed...

Engine only runs with full choke

Like I mentioned the shop is known as the engine drive welder specialists. It's hard to see a welder more than a few years old that doesn't have their sticker on it.

Engine only runs with full choke

It's fixed and they load tested it and it's putting out what it's supposed to. $500 for a used parts machine with good diodes and some other parts I can use and about an hour and a half labour to get the welder running. Their shop rate is quite a bit lower than other shops at $125/hr. Most other...
