Good Chinese companies to buy mini excavator?

Another way to check on a companies reputation is look at their Better Business Bureau profile. This is CAEL: https://www.bbb.org/ca/bc/surrey/profile/auto-repair/capital-automotive-equipment-ltd-0037-2413521/complaints

Hayes trucks in the logging industry

It might surprise you to know that Pacific Truck & Trailer is still around, although they built their last truck in 1995. They're part of Coast Powertrain now. https://www.coastpowertrain.com/pacific_truck/index.htm

Great picture, Greatwestcam. Looks a lot like this P-10 that used to be at Camex at one time. https://www.flickriver.com/photos/hayes69/16583556676/

Pacific trucks in the logging industy

You could be right about maybe one of the old plow trucks still being around. I'd doubt all of them still exist but I could believe one might. On the Facebook page I lamented that all the Hayes MD250's were gone and somebody posted a couple pictures of one. And at one point I'd accounted for all...

Okay. Good pictures of these are kind of hard to come by and I borrowed this from 64 Pacific's site just to put one up. But is this the front emblem from the BC Highways 4X4 cabovers? If you want me to take the pic down, I will, Scott. No problem.

There are examples of P10's into the early 1970's that have more or less the same look to them. This is a 1972. (Pic credit:Flickr.)

Pacific trucks in the logging industy

I think both have been saved, Corey. 118 looked to be in pretty tough shape when I took pictures of it a few years ago.

It didn't make sense to me that Allied only had four of these. But that was the information out there. Glacier scrapped #105. So, apparently Glacier never owned 118 or 119 but had three of Allied's Pacifics. The numbers don't add up.

Pacific trucks in the logging industy

With the pictures above of the four Glacier Pacifics, I think we can account for all the twin steer trucks formerly from the lower mainland. The one in Glacier paint was the Magnum truck, the three blue trucks were Allied trucks (they had four) and the remaining Allied truck was sold without its...

Pacific trucks in the logging industy

I'm pretty sure I got that picture in January 2013, Hank. There are several I'd like to find again.

Pacific trucks in the logging industy

I knew I had taken a picture of an Allied mixer truck at the mushroom farm near Abbotsford. Sorry its such a lousy pic, but it might pass for proof it was there. Yes, thats me in a Sterling with a disposable camera. Thats also why I couldn't find the pic.

Pacific trucks in the logging industy

Cory, truck 2308 was indeed the last truck built - in the parts warehouse - 4 years after regular production ended. Steve, Larry was saving the wheels and tires and a bunch of other parts for a good frame in the back. Sorry.

HDX, the P12W's are a flex frame. I asked Larry what was going to happen to the truck and he said that it wasn't worth fixing because of the front frame damage. The cab roof was poor too. Whoever had it last just torched off everything to get the engine out quick. Truck 2308 during its build...
