Hello

So i looked at a 931 track loader yesterday and there are 2 identical oil leaks, on the sides of the machine. The oil leaks are located under the fuel tank and the other under the hydraulic tank in exact same location. The owner told me that the grease zirks have broken of and just need to be replaced. But what was interesting is that oil was leaking out of them and not grease. Anyone have an idea what is wrong here? Bevel gear oil or transmission oil?

Your going to need to be more specific that that there's lots of things that could cause what your describing. It interprates to there's 2 leaks at the rear of the machine. Or is it 1 leak running off in 2 places.

Right yes. I believe its the same oil leaking on either side of the machine, so the oil is coming out in 2 different spots that are identical right above each drive sprocket on the housing of the loader.

This is in the wrong forum but sounds like hyd. lines are leaking. Maybe for the lift cylinders or could be steering lines. Grease fittings won't have fluid pouring out. It's also possible there's a leak in the middle and it's running out both sides. Might have to take the seat out to get a better look.
