That is a very unique machine. I saw on Iron Planet a BE 2570 dragline with a 380' boom. The buy it now price is $6,000,000. They listed a couple companies that were approved for dismantling it. It had 56,666 hours. I'd guess that's not considered a whole lot for a dragline. Looking at all the pics. gives a better idea how complex of a machine it is. It was a little comical that the lunch room was a bit of a mess.

A wagon mount. There was a couple of big Manitowocs out here mounted on wagons. They ended up as barge cranes.I remember watching one of them sell cheap at Ritchie Bros in the old Surrey sales yard.Handy rigs until you need to move few feet and the tractor is off on another job.

Put the Lima on a little job this week removing some dump skids for the loggers. The skids weighed around 113000 Lbs. Teamed up with a nice old 4100 on a barge to get this thing on the beach. Then used my Kenworth and lowbed on one end and the Lima carrying the other end to move it across the sort to a laydown area.image0.jpegimage2 (1).jpegimage2 (2).jpegimage1 (2).jpeg
