Gordon Franklin Photo Collection . I believe these pictures were take of 2 of Roy Saunders and Sons from Nanaimo B.C. working at The Pas Manitoba on a FERIC project comparing cost of Highway trucking vs Off Highway trucking .

Gordon Franklin Collection The next pictures appear to be a system of using a shaft with pieces of chain attached to it to rotate and delimb the trees .
