TBH if you are going to be doing a shed load of work on these machines you would be well advised to invest in a Parts Manual. Caterpillar Publication reference SEBP3827 covers all machine with Serial Numbers RKGxxxxx or WGBxxxxx. If you want a copy send me a PM.

So I bought another one from him, this one wasn’t so good . New crank from cat is $3800, aftermarket $1100. Anybody used a aftermarket?
