Kobelco sk 140sr

A kobelco sk140sr just popped up for sale locally its a 2014 model 3700 hours looks good but has no thumb. It is priced at $60k.
Are these good machines if maintained properly? Also is there a company that sells aux hyd add on kits and hyd thumbs so i can get a quote on adding that. Only other comparable machine locally both are about 2 hrs away is a 2019 case 145sr with 5k hours for $65k looks a little more scratched up but has hyd thumb and blade on it.
Will check out both machines this week but the case is newer but more hours with more options might be the winner? Im sure to add a hyd thumb from kobelco is probably close to 20k.
I have dealer support for both 20mins away. But my tractor dealership can also get construction parts which is the same distance away the opposite way but rather them for traffic reason.

Would yall say both machines can handle the same type of jobs? Cleaning tree lines around fields. Few big trees that will have to be cut up once they are knocked down to be able to move and ditch digging and about a acre pond my uncle wants dug.

Machinery trader find new thumbs under $5k for x machine with plate to weld on for the included cylinder & user need aux piping $20k is a tourist trap or make do. The hours you're planning to work the hoe hrs not important but dpf emissions problems could be why it's for sale

I’m fairly certain almost all Kobelco 140s
Were equipped with auxiliary hydraulics. If not, make sure it is not a grey market machine. Also, the early 140s had Mitsubishi engines, they had all sorts of emissions issues. They switched over to Isuzu engines fairly quickly and had a lot less issues.

I would go the Kobelco, they are good machines. It has Aux but no pics of joysticks to see if it has electronic control. I would ask the owner to send you more pics of the cab. Worst case you have to use a foot pedal to actuate the thumb.

A linkbelt 145x4 just popped up 4k hours. I can get in it for 60k has hyd thumb. Basically the same machine as the case145 except no backfill blade

We have 4 of the 145 Linkbelt machines good machines. 2018 would have the emissions stuff. I know the 350 machines run def. Not sure of the 145. If you are going to be around stumps you should get the ........ not sure what they call it like a woods package. Shimmy probably knows it's like guide plates on either side of the bottom rollers . Keeps you from knocking the track off. No blade so probably not as many miles on the running gear. these came off one of our 145s

We ended up going with the linkbelt should get it tomorrow
