Plowing snow with a Case 480c?

It'll do the job, just it's slow. Bucket doesn't hold that much and have to lift and dump constantly. Vs a blade, at most you're just lifting to stack the snow. Plus 8-10ft wide.

    Best snowplow for skid steer

We use Arctic Sno Pushers at work on loaders. I mostly run a 724 Deere, but we have a couple larger ones. The loaders we road use 10 or 12ft blades and ones that stay on lots are like 16-20ft. They are ok, but the rubber blocks on the sections are a weak point. And they are $$. The 8ft one...

    Best snowplow for skid steer

We broke records last year. Left the skid steer at the wood lot last fall as I ran out of time to haul it home (delivered wood till leaving).. "shouldn't snow before in back" Got home after being gone for work and had 3+ft drifts. Had to fire up the 977L to drag the truck out. (Have forks on...

    Best snowplow for skid steer

Have a Bobcat (Erskine) snowblower and an 84" bucket. Both have pros and cons. My dooryard is probably 1/4 acre, maybe a bit more. Driveway is maybe 50ft and then it opens up for around 200ft, maybe 60-70ft wide. Snow goes in a few areas in the downhill side. The blower can't shoot it far...

    Old O2 cylinder

I've had to set propane tanks on a campfire to thaw them so they'd work. Barely will flow at -30* even. Shake hands with danggger. Years ago my Dad set some frozen rattle cans in the stove in the garage to warm up. Surprisingly didn't make that much mess aside from his pants. Was brown paint...

    How to freeze bushing ?

Propane is about same temp as dry ice, not that cold.

    How to freeze bushing ?

Dry ice doesn't do much. Better than nothing though. It's only -40*. From room temp, that's maybe a 120* temp drop which would shrink less than 0.001" Nitrogen is around -300 to compare. Around 0.002-0.003" shrink

    Tracking Maintenance Intervals CAT 306CR

I use an excel spreadsheet to track maintenance. All in one place so easy to keep track. A tab (aka new sheet) for each equipment/truck. Just has column for date, hours/miles and work done. Put a label maker label in an easy to see spot with hours when next service is due. On the dash, ROPS...
