Cat d6d recoil spring cylinder leaking
D6d 4x04494. The cylinder inside my recoil spring is leaking grease when we tighten the tracks. Is there a way to repair this without having to cut the spring and install a new one. -

D6D leak at track outer bearing
Need help identifying this dripping leak in the outer track bearing. It looks like according to the parts book I could undo these 4 bolts and replace number 3(shell)in the diagram with a new sleeve and 2 seals which have superseded that part. Am I on the right track here? I am not sure if... -

Cat d6d broken track spring advice

D6d left final drive oil low, no exterior leak
Went to look at a nice d6d today. Everything checked out except the left final drive oil was gunky and very low. There were no visible leaks anywhere and the guy ran the machine pretty hard for 30-40mins. Could the gear oil be leaking internally somewhere? How big of an issue is this... -
