    There are 5 different models (variations) of the 680CK's. A serial number is needed to give any accurate information. I have one of the last CK's that were made. It originally had two 6 volt battery's to supply 12 volts to the system. I deleted them and put a single and the biggest 1000 CCA...

    Loader question.

    I use a 2" square tube with a 1/4" wall thickness. I cut one on side cut out of it. It is easy to lay a U shaped support on the cylinder rod. It is then a one person operation to lay it on the rod and gently put the weight of the loader on it.

    Take the wires off of the neutral switch and connect them together. If the problem is gone you have a defective switch or the wires it is connected to.

    580B hydraulic fluid /torque tube

    The torque tube has a dipstick on the top of the case - left rear. The hydraulic fluid is is stored in the loader frame. There threaded plugs that need to be removed to check the oil level. They are not interconnected. You should get a copy of the operators manual for the maintenance details.

    There is a cap on top of the radiator and it regulates the pressure. The radiator stays full all the time, unless the recovery tank level drops tooo low.

    There is a 580SL Series 1 and a 580SL Series 2 model. Different service manual for each one. Serial number is need to distinguish which one you have.

    Case #A187623 is the Bosch OEM. They are used on Case, John Deere, Caterpillar, Ford and a lot of other mfr's of equipment. Less than $80.00 for an aftermarket brand on eBay.

    Nice cart, Doug. Bigger tires, would be needed for someone that wants to move the set-up on soft surfaces. Wheelbarrow tires maybe. Or even bigger than them.

    There are self-exciting regulators available for Bosch alternators that eliminate the need to speed up the motor to start charging. I don't about your particular one.

    Case 530 engine froze

    New and used connecting rods are available from a lot of vendors. It is super important to protect any crankshaft crankshaft that may be exposed from damage. If the tractor has a torque convertor the engine should be removed so that the flex plate can be inspected for cracks.

    Worse case scenario --> cut the nuts off the caps, or cut the connecting rods and drive the sleeves out with the pistons and rods in with them. Removing the engine from the tractor would make things a lot easier no matter what you do.
