    i've been around the CATs and the Wirtgens and personally i like the Wirtgens better. grade control is alot nicer IMO along with the operators station.

    thats pretty cool.i've never seen that done or heard of it being done, but i've never really been around graders that much other than fine grading building pads with a laser setup.

    the company i work started to get into the gas industry on the site work side of things. it was neat to watch them bring in the drilling rig, ste it up and start drilling.they did all that when we were digging the frac pond beside the well pad.it took them a little over a month to drill two...

    in pa you can get permitts to road large equipment monday thru friday for sure, saturday is a maybe and sunday is off limits i believe. not sure on the weekend thing since i've never moved anything on the weekend.

    the company that i work for has a case 460 skidsteer, i believe with a mill head and a bucket attachment, a sweep truck, and a laborer with a jack hammer in the clean up crew behind the big mills.     Look what I found

    I saw that sitting along the road this summer when i was working up rt19. drove by everyday for a week. never got a chance to stop and check it out up close.
