    I was one of those that was living out of a suitcase back in those days. The pictures were taken near Doyle California. I loaded logs for all of sillers copters. It was great times following the traveling helicopter show. Gologit, sounds like you were there too.

    Best thing cat ever did is to get rid of the steering wheel. I have been running wheel loaders for over 20 years and after that long your arm gets worn out. I hate cimbing in to the cab of them any more.

    Is there any logger out there that has a extra ram on his grapple to push out the grapple when getting skids that are on steep ground? A few years ago I saw a D5 cat with a small hyd. ram that pushed out the grapple to get logs that were just out of reach. Any help would be great. Any pictures?

    IH 3500A I guess equipment with ANC is for the next generation of operators. I am now 58 years old and have been a loyal ear plug wearer. A few of my friends that have not been wearing then have lost a lot of there hearing.

    Thanks for the info. I am looking to try some noise canceling headphones just to listen to the radio and ipod. Hoping that the tunes will sound better and the feller buncher less noisy fyrewood guy thats a way cool looking fire wood mill you have!
