    Cat 966A loaders

Iron man, that aint no 966A :tong ! Looks like a earlier production 980 maybe an a or b, seems a bit to small to be a 988 and the loader arms definitely make it one of the larger sized loaders, all of the early production cat loaders 966 and lower had a curved boom with different tilt setup...

    JD 644J Blown Turbocharger

Well being that im 18 yrs old, you wouldnt think i listen to classic rock much, but its my favorite music and the best music out there. Almost all of this new alternative music sucks, and i seem to revel in the "good days" of music although i wasnt even close to being born in that era. So im...

    Washington Tl-6 Trakloader

It seems like thats how everything in todays world goes, anyone can sue anyone for anything and they do it just for the money and dont care whether its morally right or not. If someone slips and hurts themselves on a patch of ice on the walkway in front of my house, i'm liable for it... its...

    Washington Tl-6 Trakloader

Thats quite the story, funny ive never heard of a road being abandoned here in WI, but im sure the rough weather you get up there can make it look like a road was never there. But it seems as though the Trakloader is holding its own still against the elements. Thats a sad story about the...

    Cat 966A loaders

Dont buy this model. As much as i really like the paint, much of the model is poor quality and not worth the money. First off, when you love the loader arms all the way up, the pistons fall out of the sleeves and they are really tough to get back in. Second off, the bucket tilt cylinders are...

    Allis Chalmers TL series

Has anyone had any experience or pictures of the old Allis Chalmers TL series loaders (TL-12, TL-20, TL-30, etc.)? I am fascinated with the suicide arms on those loaders and the Michigan 75's and 125's. Its just a really interesting design that i am for some reason infatuated with. If anyone...

    Car vs. Loader

Local, what part of milwaukee do you work in? Im from the Whitefish Bay area and it would be really cool to see how an experienced operator works in person.

    Manitowoc 4600 at night

If your only here to ridicule and complain about other people's work, thats a terrible reason to be on the site. I'm sure you would do everyone a favor by acting more respectful and mature twoards others on the site or leaving.

Cat 966B looking to install a more comfy seat??

Yea, i guess i was pretty wrong about it being a loader- i can see the excavator's boom right on the side of the cab! Thanks for identifying that one for me turbo.

    this just blew my mind

Sorry, i just phrased the lubrication wrongly- its just that most engines that are two strokes (at least almost all of the gasoline ones) mix the oil with the fuel and thats how they get lubricated. I guess i just left out thinking that two stroke engines could still hold oil in the crankcase...

    this just blew my mind

Theres no way that loader's engine is a two stroke (my understanding of a 2 stroke is an engine used in small applications... weed wacker, leaf blower, small snow blower). So i must be misunderstood because theres no way you could properly lubricate this engine by just mixing oil and gas...
