    That would be me. 264-8861 is the part number for the display itself. Carter Cat was able to provide a used one from their Salem, VA location I believe. $250. Give them a call, what do you have to lose?

    Exactly. The rod ends and lower loader arm pivots are exposed to more contaminates/wear than any other pivot point on the machine.

    Rod end of the cylinder on my 299C is oblonged a bit where the pin goes through, and I was curious if there is a bushing in there? I've degreased and wire brushed it but can't see a seam or such. Found Cat part number 3K-2151 which appears to have the right ID and it's description references...

    It would be nice if the ET software/hookup wasn't so costly, I'd buy it myself. The software package I bought to talk to our Ford trucks was around $400 if memory serves me correctly.
