    control also contact taper with some chalk marker or the waxy contact tracer if you have it

    at this point i woud have it looked at by a machinist that would calculate tolerances, new parts even oem don't always fit unfortunatly

    try to lube well the shaft with grase or aitiseize and then a swing wrench , i don't know the excat name but the ones you hit with a sledge hammer, them usually do the trick especially if you preheat the flange, thighten and then when cool tighten again
