    sk210-6 no start

    Went through this on a kobelco 210. Installed a new starter with a soft start relay on it and had a no start with the new starter motor. I ended up having to add a ground to the soft start relay to engine block to solve the issue.

    And if you can get part numbers from the dealer, call the hino truck dealer for the engine parts. Usually half the price of the off-road hino dealers. That was my experience with Kobelco. 6k for an EGR valve and 3k from the truck dealer.

    Had the exact same issue with the j08 in a hino truck. Also replaced the cups with no change. Pulled the head. Cylinder head was warped. Rebuilt head and a fresh gasket fixed it.

    I got mine through ebay. Cat didn't want to sell one to me. I got a brand new one from a guy in British Columbia in the cat box with the plastic and everything on it. I suspect it "fell off a truck" but I didn't ask questions.

    Your the second person to mention nexiq works with JCB. Can you confirm the nexiq usb link 2 works with JCB service master. And if it does how do you add it into the adapter selection menu? My JCB only list the JCB interface as an option. Already have the link 2 for all my truck software.

    Apples to oranges. The OEM is always the best. However I can't afford to have every OEM software and interface under the sun. That's where the jaltest comes into play. Gives us a chance of diagnosing/repairing the problems on a brand we don't see alot of.

You will need to purchase the OEM interface for each software and each interface is only good for that specific brand. The OEM interfaces are not cheap.     I haven't seen that specific code but Ive been out to multiple newer case 580s and they all have been rotten wiring. The engine wiring harnesses are notorious for failing. The large bulk head connector where the machine harness meets the engine harness is famous for rotting out.
