    The famous Cat "Click Box"

    I made one over 10 years ago and it's worked well. I used a small project box; mine is about 3"x2.5"x1" and the smaller size is good at times. The project was good for learning about electrical components and where to buy them.

    250hr vs 500hr Oil Changes

    The company I work for runs 900 hours between engine oil changes. The machines have an auxiliary engine oil filter plumbed in and the oil is sampled every 200 hours. When we first started doing this I was convinced we we're going to lose engines but it's worked out well.

    #@&%$# bugs!

    Yeah, they're a pain. The headlamp on my hard hat draws moths and other flying bugs. These attract the bats which procede to dive bomb as long as the light is on. I've had several bounce off my hard hat.

    reflooring end dump

    I've had good luck with Innershield NR-211 run through a LN-25 to weld AR bucket liners. Burning 7018 stick works well but it's very slow.
