Alliss Chalmers TS 562 Twin engine Scraperr

The 562 is now in Kansas, left here a couple of days ago for a museum of some sort. ( I don’t know many of the details) but they plan on restoring it and possibly demonstrating it at some point. Got some pics before it left next to the 160 and hd21

I really have no idea, you’d have to contact a trucking company. That’s just our truck to haul our equipment.

This is one of our units we hauled them with. They are about 11’ 9”wide at the draft tube (widest point) 10’ outside of tires, 25’ wheel base, 43’ total length, 12’ high. Between 75000 and 80000 lbs

They are starting to get a few more pics up today. We took out all the lever stuff and made a plate to mount them to. Once it was all figured out, it took very little modification to change them. They have been a very trouble free system for us, and work really nicely. Just throwing it out...

It’s a system we came up with with help from a local hydraulic company. I’m not sure of the brand name. It’s a pilot pressure system with an accumulator. We ran the pilot pressure off the steering. So after start up you just turn the steering enough to pressure the system. It’s a similar stick...

hey guys, just wondering what everyone thinks is the best bang for your buck in the 25-30 ton rock trucks. I am considering buying two or three to have around, just general purpose, use them when needed. don't want to spend much money on them since they won't be used much, just fill in on...

a scrap dealer. no one has any anymore. we had to get a machine shop to make new gears and rebuild them that way. they were a very special pump, only good thing is that it is for a front. It was in the 262, 263, 261, 260 and I think even the 161 had the same trans. so you might get lucky and...

How NOT to haul a long boom excavator

I think that this might be a worse way to haul an excavator. this happened a few months ago and that is a railway overpass. very lucky it didn't come down on the cab of the kenworth. The driver now faces many charges and jail time. I don't know how fast he was going but the speed limit there...

Alliss Chalmers TS 562 Twin engine Scraperr

I want to run it probably more than you want to see pictures of it. However it hasn't hauled a load of dirt since it came to us. we have to fix an air valve and we haven't put the rear driveshaft in yet. (they roaded it to us with no brakes or rear engine, it is a 2 hour drive in a car @ 60...

    Fiat Allis 262B's

hi 260A I really like running the 263, it does a nice job with finish work, it makes even the toughest dirt to work with easier to use. we only have the one, we actually bought it for parts, but when it got here it was a runnable machine, so we thought we would try it out. we had never had an...
