Cat 980H problem
Good evening. I’ve a Cat 980H just passing through my yard and this light keeps popping up. Dozer blade mole board question
I know it’s abit of a daft question,but can anyone tell me the correct term for the bit of a blade that the corner shoes and cutting edges sit on please. I’ve spent 30 years referring it as a mole board,yet I’ve receantly heard it as a Mold board by a chap with greater knowledge than me. -

Quick drop feature on blade
Sorry for the daft question,but what exactly is the quick drop feature on the blade used for?.I’ve looked in the manual and it just shows how to disable it on the ECU and what the light on the dash is for. Many thanks -
