    D9h t/c Thanks for the replies. Going to use part from D9G T/C mainly the alloy stator and replace all bearings. Cleaning the oil cooler and trans lines, took covers of steering clutches to clean as much as possible. Strip transmission and pump and check condition. Craig

    Cat D9H T/C and Trans compatable with D9G

    The torque converter on our D9H s/n 90V 3561 is stuffed. I would like to know if the T/C and Trans from a D9G s/n 66A 7015 would fit as this was rebuilt about 2000 hrs ago. If the trans is different on the D9H would the D9G's trans internals be able swap into the D9H's trans housing. Thanks...

    D9g Hi Joedirt, The only improvement to the D9G i operate is that a muffler has been added it had the straight exhaust pipe before.when i was younger i didnt mind listening to the sound it made a good throaty roar,now it would be to loud for these ears.
