    check all for air leak on sucken side found half oring on test plug on top of filter base. think i got it fixed . thanks for all the help ,stay safe and god bless. the little things count, was doing stall test, and drive shaft would not stop changed oring and drive shaft would stop right now ...

    d5h trans question

    has anyone had a trans control valve wear enough to release enough oil to keep from cooling trans. had one years back on 10k6255 d 6 c do it ,run tractor with top off trans could see oil by pass. the way the valves are in d5h is on back and oil would pore out. sn 3md442

    d5h 3md 442 sn. this tractor seams to be low on oil flow the tractor runs trans hot after about 2 hrs i have worked control valve (cat did it) went through steering clutch and breaks linkage presser is good no metal in filter. knowing that trans gets oil first and cooling with what is left...
