Cat 299D3 XE not sure whats going on

2020 year and running on hi flo with Vail Extreme Mulcher Engine seemed to kind of surge but I think it might have been pulsing hydraulics loading the machine, a little jerky movement. I was in turtle mode max at 16 After 30 seconds and what seemed to be derated power/hydraulics beacuse it...

    What would you do ?

because the capital gains $$ is no where near what it would cost for a machine and with it being only a part time business I can afford the payments with my current job - I also will be selling a trailer and another wheeled skid to put against the loan so plan to pay it down quick with the jobs...

Interesting - I would not want to be a tech on them but would hope they would hold up. We dont have good dealer support here like other brands so not sure I would want to be my business on one for that reason. I would like to rent one to test with but I have not been able to do that either. I...

Cat 299D and Vail Rotary Mulcher

No I have not they do not have good dealer support here. I have driven an older RC85 I believe it was, it was the 85 back in about 06 or 08 my cousin had one. It was fine for grading and doing some tree pulling. I was experimenting with it at the time for a couple days doing some work on a place...
