    Just wanted to know if any one on hear has worked for Sevenson we have bought some of there used equimpent from our dealer in the past and they seem to take real good care of there stuff i know they do a lot of clean up work just wanted to hear about them a little

    seat belts on dozer

    I can say I never wear my belt I do a lot of fine grading and run excavator and never put it on. I do wear it on a scraper pan when I run one which is not very much . I guess I should wear a least on a dozer it would be a good habit to get in to.

    JD 690B... thoughts & opinions

    I am sure the uc was not perfect and it had wide pads on it so they would slip off sometimes but we got good a putting them on. we put a new pump on it and that thing would really dig for it's age. good luck.

    Cat 287

    we got our 277 this week i like it alot i think it is night and day to the bobcat not as much power but fine for what we need it for. It did come with a box inside of it says laser on or off and 4 other controls on it up down right left. is that for eletrice controls any one know.

    Other than the cab being on the wrong side the are not a bad machine for what they are can do a lot of work with one the track can be hard to keep on and are a pain to clean out. but for what it sounds like you are doing it would be fine

    I got a price on the one we just got from Cat and with the rollers and tracks about 6000. Might get a little cheaper from some one else.

    LoL that is a fact "Bobcat Vibratory loader" we ended up buying a 277b 2005 alot better shape and only had 900 hours on it. Very smooth Machine. thanks for all your help

    Thanks that was one thing that i did not like about the T300 it would shake the windows out of it on hard ground. We dont use a skidsteer much so i dont want a nother new one we are looking a 2004 that the local cat dealer has. and got a good deal on it

    There is a riser that you put over top of the valve. You backfill around the valve with stone and set the riser right on top of the stone and the riser is thread so you can adjust it to your finish grade. And you do put a trust block behind it to virgin ground on any tee or elbow. Thanks...

    very wet towards the end lot of guys did't finish. That 8820 was working her heart out towards the end was pushing mud up the back of the head. We plant our beans in 30" rows we have to much white mold if we don't those beans went about 55 bushel.
