    Ive taken it down and it was clean. Put new Orings in before putting it pack together. forgot to mention that in my original post.

    There us no pin keeping it from moving. Yes the ripper has worked before. The last time it was out on a job. They had issues with it before they completed the job. Then it sat at the shop for a while no one bothered to mention it had a problem till it was getting to be loaded up for another job

    Greetings. I have a 1989 army surplus D7G. I can't get the ripper to move up or down. How the lines flex when the lever is moved. If you move it in the up direction the up pilot line has pressure same for the lower .when you try to move it however the ripper doesn't move but the pressure lines...

    We use two jet heaters at 150k btu. 3 hours in just using one im turning it off becuse im starting to sweat. We use off road fuel in them instead of kerosene they work just as good

    Just about half of our equipment are open cab. All of our dozers are the 963s have cabs but no ac as well as our excavators, scrapers, endumps. Some of our logging equipment and one dozer has ac.

    Luckily the shops here still repair radiators, alternators starters ect. Just sent a radiator for a D4 out for repair. Had the alternators off my service truck and bobcat rebuilt. Even found someone who rebuilds steering sectors on trucks as well. Saves tens of thousands of dollars every year

    I had this issue with a 700H. Was throwing the same kind of code different numbers for the 700. We put a speed sensor in the left travel motor issue continued. Then there was a nosie coming from the final drive. Every gear and bearing in there was shot so it kept pulling to the right...

    The chain isn't in a bind that I can see. Unless there is a barring in the side thats shot. I didn't see any couplings either

    The saw on my knuckleboom as quit working. When I it the button I can hear and see in the lines the hydraulics working. They saw just doesn't spin or come down. Unfortunately I have no manuals for this machine. If anyone good give me some insight it would be greatly appreciated.

    Reasonable life of a Cat CS - 433C vibratory compactor?

    We hav a 433c it has 9000 hours on it. We have done some work on it had to weld up on the drum redo the drive motor brakes and a power coupling not all at once. Best thing you can do is to make sure the operators dont sit still while it vibrating. We need to due more work on the drum now...
