    Like skyking1 says CDL is a plus!,our apprenticeship requires that ,Spend a lot of time at your training site, if you have one,run everything there you can,always update you’re card with new equipmen.IUOE is going to be a great career pat!

    I know from the D model K model are a lot of differences I’m sure you could probably Google it. I’m sure the transmission and hydraulics and probably the motor too just to name a few.I’m sure some of the guy’s on this forum know more detailed differences,good luck!

    Wow rackmaster,that looks exactly like my 580K did when I bought it! Easy fix,I stood mine up on the stabilize,your still going to need some clean buckets if you’re saving the fluid.Also good time to clean the filter.

    My new "old" hoe 580k

    I’m a big fan of the old K model, Mine has 1680hrs great home owner machine.I like the fact they’re pretty easy to maintain.That machine looks really nice!good luck.

    How much to reseal some cylinders?

    Just got my 580K backhoe boom cylinder back 740.00 went up a bit,just like everything else I guess,at least it’s done,no other leaks YET.

    Just took my backhoe boom cylinder off my 580K to be rebuilt just started seeping 500bucks not to bad but it’s gonna take 3 week.Same shop I’ve used before,he’s just slammed right now.Putting in an in ground pool and really need it o well that’s the way it goes.

    We had a long stick on ours, most of our cuts were 18 to 20 foot.I still remember right foot bucket control left foot dipper,right hand boom,left hand swing crazy!
