    Try wire a button straight to starter, if your ground sizzles, check all your ground to make sure you have a good ground, electrons travel from - to +.

    The hyd filter is under the engine top cover, closer to the fuel tank, or aft of engine above.

    That hexagon shaped thing just under the floor behind shifter is dipstick for the transaxle, power steering pump is its own reservoir for hyd fluid and has its own dipstick.

    I move gears, remove ball and lever to see inside, try to remove top plate, put back ball and lever, move again, remove ball and shifter, try to remove top plate, put back ball and shifter, move gears, take off ball and shifter, try to take of top plate, put back.......... Its a vicious cycle...

    Ive got the shifter out and lined up notches, to center, i cant bring cover up enough to look under, it is in nuetral though, im worried that what ever held shifter in place in rectangle area dont end up eating synchros and stuff.

    The rectangle notches are lined up, but the front of the cover will come up only about an 8th of an inch. Is there a bushing thats supoosed to sit in there or is there 2 cross pins that suppoed to hold shifter down yet allow side to side motion?
