Upper Roller Bearings and Tracks Falling Off?

Next time the track comes off pull the idler out, the spring should come with it. Then check the gap in the spring coils or see if the bolt moves. These bolts breaking isn't unusual, had one go on a new Cat 320 with 70hrs on the meter.

Upper Roller Bearings and Tracks Falling Off?

Are the tracks coming off when reversing ( sprocket leading) or both directions? Has the bolt that goes through the spring been checked? If that is broken it will cause (a) the tracks to look tight and (b) the tracks to flop off the sprockets.

    final drive

The complete drive assembly will need to be removed including the motor. It's fairly easy to do. There's heaps of info on this forum about this and how to replace the Duo-Cone seal. Fair warning though, a failed seal can be caused by other factors like worn bearings etc, be prepared.

DEERE 333E UNEVEN SPROCKET WEAR ( ONE VS THE OTHER )

The usual cause of this is operator dexterity(left or right handed) and is very common but seldom recognized. Every operator is guilty of it to a greater or lesser extent. If noticed early enough the sprockets should be swapped from side to side to gain total wear.

    Sprocket ware

Swap from side to side. No point in throwing out part worn parts, run them to total destruction.

    Sprocket ware

Quite a bit of life in it if you swap them over. Some people laugh when I mention how operator dexterity can be seen in sprocket wear but there it is. ;-)

    Small crawler crane

This looks like something out of the Cleveland trencher factory. They used IHC engines and the panels and fuel tank could be the same as IH wheel tractors of that time.

Looking at Mecalac 6MCR - what to look for?

Reckon it would be great for those running a small excavator skidsteer combo but if it breaks down you're done for the day against a combo if 1 breaks down you're only half done.

    Compaction Question--

https://arequipment.com.au/attachment/excavator-compaction-wheels/ With a hydraulic quick hitch these gadgets are fast and easily achieve the required results. Shoring can be removed prior to backfilling with no bodies down the hole. Only one machine to place material and compact.

    Big dozers

2 things against large dozers 1- job duration and 2- establishment costs Having 2 smaller machines makes more sense. If 1 breaks down the work continues all be it at half pace Less establishment costs and easier to move. Easier to sell when the tasks have finished.

    Safety BS

Going on about safety switches and dumb. Years ago I owned and operated a small dedicated forestry mulcher. I was called on to do some clearing between a major highway and a service road. A new very efficient safety officer rocked to do a prestart safety inspection, defected it because it didn't...

    TB260 won't spin flail mower

The cross over valve is 1 way flow so have you tried swapping over the feed and return hoses at the excavator? The reason for that valve is to circulate oil through the hydraulic motor on shut down and without it you'll stuff the motor.
