    Forgot to reply.. Got it to disengage and I disconnected the linkage. Actually the floor pedal is frozen. I will disassemble but I think I will leave it disconnected for now. Thanks

    No luck.. I disconnected the pedal and pulled up the rear floor. Should I be able to engage and disengage the lock lever by hand. Has anyone ever had the differential lock stuck engaged? Hard to get to the lever - thinking of pulling the control console off and see if there is more access...

    I think I have a stuck differential lock on a Case 580SK. It doesn't want to steer - rather slides some. Any ideas on how to release it or what to look for. Thanks

    Coy, It looks like I have to pull the radiator, oil cooler, and possibly the hydraulic pump to get to the screen. Is that correct? Thanks

    I picked up a 1992 Case 580SK backhoe. I need to flush the hydraulics. The plug I found is 1-7/8" socket. It is on the right side bottom of the main frame. Can someone tell me if I am on the correct bolt to drain the fluid. It is frozen.. Couldn't break it loose with a 3/4" breaker bar and...
