Hi please advise on the braking system for the 140 G serial no. 50h496. We have serviced everything, changed compressor, clutches and foot valve. Any help on this.

Thank you for the response, the machine started loosing brakes, was oil from the tank which was drained and cleaned. We changed compressor and foot valve, serviced the whole system but still the brakes are not responding. We tested pressure to the tank which was there.

G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.
Remove one of the air hoses on top of the tandem (incoming from the treadle valve to the brakes). Attach a pressure gauge to that hose and press the treadle valve. Repeat the check with the other side of the machine.
What pressure do you see.?

The S/No you quoted is not correct for a 140G. The options are 13W, 72V, 81V, or 5MD.

See what your pressure is like Nige says if you have 90-120 psi then the problem will be in the brakes maybe you cut the seals when going together
